Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway is 100.8 km long, the entire route passes through Binh Thuan province and will be put into operation, exploiting the main route from May 19, 2023, and inaugurated on June 18, 2023.

At km 201 of Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway through Ham Thuan Bac district, a man carrying a sack walked on the slope of the highway. Because the surface was inclined, this man held onto the corrugated iron guardrail of the highway to walk along the road and pick up scrap metal.
When asked if he knew this was very dangerous, the scrap collector replied: "I see vehicles going very fast, but there are a lot of scrap up here. I have to look from afar to see if there are any vehicles before I climb in to pick them up, then I come out immediately."
At the km204 overpass area, many cows grazed inside the highway fence. Somehow, the cows got through the highway fence and walked in the area between the highway fence and the embankment.
At km202 + 250, there is a spontaneous roadside cafe. Nearby, there is an open iron gate at the highway fence and a truck pulls over and parks on the side of the highway. The driver gets out of the car, goes through the opening to go to the roadside cafe to eat.
Also in the 5 km section from km200 to km205, reporters recorded some locations where the iron gates at the highway protection fence were open.
Recently, on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway, there have been a number of traffic accidents caused by cars hitting the back of vehicles in the same direction that were stopped on the highway.
