Recorded over 3km of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway from km205 (Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway rest stop under construction) to km208 (National Highway 28 intersection on the right side of the route in Ham Thuan Bac district, many locations have subsidence and asphalt on the road surface.
There are also locations where gravel and gravel have been used to patch and dig large potholes due to subsidence.
Previously, this residential access road was paved with fine plastic by the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway construction unit. The status of the residential access road is damaged because dump trucks carrying construction materials at the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway rest stop run continuously.
Mr. Pham Quoc Huy, Executive Director of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway Project (Project Management Board 7, Ministry of Transport), said that the construction unit of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway rest stop must be responsible for repairing the damaged residential access road. This has been committed to the district, borrowed the road for construction and is responsible for restoration.
"The structure of the residential road is a rural level V road, so it cannot withstand such a large number of vehicles carrying construction materials" - Mr. Huy shared more.
According to the record, not only the residential road on the right side of the route but also the section on the left side of the route has 2 damaged locations, peeling off the asphalt surface and being patched with gravel.
The Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway is 100.1km long through the entire Binh Thuan province, and is planned to have two rest stops at km205+092 (Ham Thuan Bac district) and km144+560 (Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province). The area of each station is 10 hectares on the left and right sides of the route.
