Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 3 Yagi , local police deployed response plans to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.

To deploy emergency response work to storm No. 3 and floods, the Ministry of Public Security and local police mobilized more than 100,000 people to participate in the on-duty response to storm No. 3 and floods.

In addition to the regular police force, the force participating in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level also participates very actively.

In Nam Dinh province:

The police of coastal districts of Nam Dinh province coordinate with functional forces to deploy measures to protect sea dikes and embankments; regularly patrol and inspect sea dikes and river mouths.

Traffic police proactively patrol the roads, especially at places at risk of flooding, to promptly detect and assist people in trouble, ensuring traffic safety.

During patrolling and controlling, proactively detect trees at risk of falling, coordinate with the commune-level police force to ensure safety, prevent trees from falling on people and vehicles...

In Thai Binh province:

Police units and localities are on duty with 100% of their personnel, deploying storm response work according to the "4 on-site" motto.

The forces shall intensify propaganda and notify owners of vehicles, boats, and passenger wharves across the river about the storm's developments so that they can proactively prevent and take measures to ensure the safety of boats at anchorage areas, especially in Thai Thuy and Tien Hai districts; be ready with forces and means to rescue when required and handle situations that arise.

In Ha Nam province:

According to statistics, the whole province has a total of 2,665 unsafe houses. Police units and localities have mobilized and supported 100% of households to evacuate to safe storm shelters.

Previously, the police force of the whole province proactively deployed response plans for storm No. 3, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

In Ninh Binh province:

The provincial police force is on duty with 100% of its personnel, mobilizing maximum forces and means, synchronously deploying storm prevention plans, arranging permanent working groups in key areas, coordinating with functional forces to organize traffic flow, ensure traffic, be ready to clear traffic jams and search, rescue and relief.

Coordinate with functional forces to strictly enforce the ban on going to the sea, banning going to lagoons and coastal areas to watch over cages and collect aquatic and seafood products of the people.

In Hai Duong province:

On the night of September 6 and September 7, the local police force proactively coordinated with local departments and organizations to help people respond to storm No. 3, such as moving people and property to safe shelters, tying and reinforcing houses and rafts, supporting people with necessary items, equipment, and necessities, etc.

On major traffic routes and main streets with trees, the Traffic Police force coordinates with functional units to organize guidance, traffic flow, post warning signs, clean up and handle broken and fallen trees on the road to help keep traffic flowing smoothly.

In Hung Yen province:

Police units and localities are ready to deploy plans, strictly implement the "4 on-site" motto, ensure safety for pumping stations, rivers, natural disaster prevention works, and have adequate supplies and equipment for storm prevention. Especially in vulnerable areas, irrigation works under construction are easily affected.

Before, during and after the storm, there must be forces directly directing prevention and control to ensure the safety of people, especially the vulnerable.

In Thanh Hoa province:

Since September 6, Muong Lat District Police have maintained a standing force ready to participate in handling situations caused by storms and floods; conducted inspections and reviews of flood and storm prevention plans; fully prepared forces, means, materials, communication equipment, food and provisions ready to participate in prevention and rescue when there are storms and floods.

The police of communes and towns have regularly stayed close to the grassroots, coordinated with functional forces to propagate, mobilize and help households living in dangerous areas, with high risks of landslides, flash floods, and flash floods to evacuate people and property to safety.

In Lang Son province:

The leaders of Lang Son Provincial Police urgently directed the Police of all units and localities to focus on implementing drastic, timely and effective measures to prevent and combat storm No. 3 with the spirit of "proactive prevention and response at the highest level" to ensure the safety of people's lives and minimize damage to the property of the people and the State.

In Ha Giang province:

Ha Giang Provincial Police arranges permanent and standby forces, ready to deploy forces to ensure security, order, prevent and combat natural disasters, search and rescue, and overcome consequences caused by natural disasters; ensure specialized tools and vehicles, ready to perform tasks immediately upon instruction.

Traffic police in the whole province arranged forces and means to organize guidance, traffic flow, maintain patrols and control on all roads, and warn to ensure safety for people and property.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force and the Mobile Police Force are ready to deploy forces and vehicles to promptly organize rescue and support people to overcome the consequences caused by storms and floods.

Police forces at all levels coordinated with local authorities to help people harvest rice. They urgently reinforced houses and moved belongings of households in areas at risk of being affected by the storm to safe shelters.
