According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command, implementing Project No. HCM 1225.3, at 4:35 PM on January 6, in the inter-village road area, belonging to group 3, hamlet 2, Long Son commune. Special task force reconnaissance of the Border Guard Professional Department of Ho Chi Minh City presided over and coordinated with Long Son Border Guard Station and Long Son Commune Police to catch suspect Chu Kim Thanh (resident of Ho Chi Minh City) red-handed while committing the act of illegally possessing drugs. At the scene, functional forces seized 3 g of synthetic drugs in the form of ice and 1 mobile phone.

Conducting an emergency search of the subject's residence in a room without a number in group 3, village 2, Long Son commune, functional forces discovered and seized about 500 g of synthetic drugs in the form of methamphetamine.
In order to promptly encourage, motivate and recognize the results of the Special Case Committee and the forces participating in the case, the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command rewarded cash: 10 million VND to the Professional Department, Long Son Border Guard Station and Long Son Commune Police. At the same time, Long Son Commune People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 7 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the fight against and arrest of drug crimes in Long Son commune.
