Implementing Official Dispatch No. 51/CD-TTg dated July 21, 2026 of the Prime Minister on overcoming the consequences of a particularly serious traffic accident occurring on National Highway 1, in Hung Thinh commune, Dong Nai city, the Ministry of Construction has just requested its affiliated units to urgently implement many solutions to prevent similar accidents.
According to the Ministry of Construction, the accident occurred at Km1839 National Highway 1, killing 7 people and injuring many others. To promptly handle issues under the state management scope of the construction industry, and at the same time proactively prevent and minimize particularly serious traffic accidents, the Ministry requests relevant agencies and units to seriously implement the assigned tasks.
In which, agencies and units continue to strictly implement Official Dispatch No. 48/CD-TTg dated July 17, 2026 of the Prime Minister and Document No. 11098/BXD-VT&ATGT dated July 17, 2026 of the Ministry of Construction on deploying solutions to ensure traffic order and safety after the particularly serious accident on the Phap Van - Cau Gie - Cao Bo - Mai Son - National Highway 45 - Nghi Son expressway, located in Chuong Duong commune, Hanoi City.

The Ministry of Construction also assigned the Vietnam Road Administration, Departments of Construction of provinces and cities and related agencies to strengthen the management of automobile transport business activities. In which, it is required to tighten passenger and large-volume freight transport activities, especially for vehicles operating at night.
Responsible units are responsible for promptly detecting, warning and handling violations according to their authority or proposing competent authorities to strictly handle violations, not allowing similar traffic accidents to occur.
For the Vietnam Register, the Ministry of Construction requests urgent review of records, inspection history and technical safety status of vehicles related to the accident; and at the same time provide complete information and documents to competent authorities to serve the investigation and verification of the cause of the incident; Research and propose solutions to overcome existing shortcomings and inadequacies (if any).
