Ca Mau establishes Steering Committee to remove difficulties for backlog projects

Ca Mau - The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to establish a Steering Committee to remove difficulties and obstacles for backlog and prolonged projects in the province.

On May 14, according to information from the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Office, the Steering Committee for removing difficulties and obstacles for backlog and prolonged projects in the province was headed by Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai - Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is Deputy Head of the Steering Committee. Mr. Huynh Huu Tri - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee holds the role of Standing Deputy Head.

The Steering Committee has the task of reviewing and classifying backlog and prolonged projects that are facing difficulties and obstacles in the province; identifying the causes for each project to propose specific, timely and effective solutions.

According to the decision, the Steering Committee will focus on removing bottlenecks to soon put the project into operation, unlock and promote the effectiveness of resources, especially land resources, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.

The Steering Committee is also responsible for periodically reporting to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the implementation results; and at the same time promptly proposing and recommending contents beyond its authority for consideration and direction.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee is assigned to be the standing agency, advising and assisting the Steering Committee in implementing tasks according to regulations. The Steering Committee is allowed to establish a Working Group to directly monitor and advise on removing difficulties for key projects and works in the province.
