On March 16, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed on the policy of piloting the "Gia Lai Coffee & Culture Weekend Space" to diversify tourism products, promote local cultural values, contribute to attracting tourists and serving activities within the framework of the 2026 National Tourism Year.
At the same time, the province agreed on the policy of not collecting land use fees during the pilot period, creating conditions for the organizing unit to focus resources on investment and deploy activities.
The pilot period is expected to be 6 months, from March 2026 to the end of August 2026, organized on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays every week. Location in the area of Anh Hung Nup street, Dai Doan Ket Square campus, Pleiku ward.
The booths are arranged methodically, selectively, imbued with local cultural identity; prioritizing the introduction of Gia Lai coffee, tea products, typical cuisine, and space to enjoy coffee, tea and experience tea culture (tea ceremony).

At the same time, display and promote OCOP products and typical products of the province, including products from mountainous and coastal areas.
For food stalls, priority should be given to introducing specialties, traditional dishes and processed products from typical agricultural products of regions and regions in the province, contributing to promoting local culinary culture; minimize the arrangement of stalls selling fast food or popular dishes that are not locally characteristic.
In addition, the province is also studying to organize local cultural experience activities, performances and giao lưu (interaction) of Gong Culture Space on weekends, creating unique cultural and tourism highlights, contributing to attracting tourists.
