On August 23, the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Exploitation of Public Works of Bao Lam Area said that after many days of coordination with local authorities, the unit has basically completed the collection, transportation and treatment of spontaneous garbage collection points on Provincial Road 725. Thereby, contributing to ensuring environmental sanitation and restoring a clean and beautiful landscape on Provincial Road 725 passing through Bao Lam 1, Bao Lam 4 and Bao Lam 5 communes.
Mr. Tran Thanh Phong, Director of the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Exploitation of Public Works in Bao Lam Area, informed that after receiving feedback from the press, the unit has conducted an inspection and collected and transported the amount of waste remaining at spontaneous garbage collection points on Provincial Road 725. The amount of waste is still in backlog, so the collection and transportation is quite difficult. After many efforts, the collection and transportation has been basically completed.
Along with handling spontaneous garbage collection points, the Board has also worked with the People's Committees of communes to unify the management and collection of garbage to avoid recurrence of spontaneous garbage collection points as in the past.
The People's Committees of communes have also issued specific notices to guide people to collect waste in the right places. For cases where people intentionally violate, when discovered, they will be strictly handled according to regulations," said Mr. Phong.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on Provincial Road 725 through Bao Lam 1, Bao Lam 4 and Bao Lam 5 communes (Lam Dong province), there are many garbage collection points lying around.
These garbage collection points are far from residential areas, because local people spontaneously dump them. Because it has not been collected for a long time, the garbage collection points give off a foul smell, causing serious environmental pollution and loss of aesthetics.
