According to the plan, tomorrow (June 30), the Hanoi Party Committee will hold a ceremony to announce the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the City's decisions on implementing new commune-level administrative units in the capital.
Accordingly, the announcement ceremony is scheduled to take place at 8:00 a.m. at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).
At the ceremony, Hanoi plans to announce the decision to assign 126 secretaries to new wards and communes; announce the chairmen, vice chairmen... of communes and wards.
According to Lao Dong, these days, at the new commune and ward headquarters in Hanoi, workers have begun to put up new name signs, to prepare to start operating from July 1.
At 30 Le Dai Hanh - where the headquarters of the Hai Ba Trung District People's Committee is located, workers are repainting and renovating the facilities so that on July 1, the Hai Ba Trung Ward People's Committee (new) will have its headquarters at the above location.








Talking with Lao Dong, a leader of the (new) Tay Mo People's Committee said that the preparation for the official operation of the 2-level government model in the district has basically been completed.
"We have fully prepared facilities, human resources, and material resources to operate the new government. Regarding changing the new nameplate, we will change the name in a few days, basically everything is very favorable" - this leader said.
Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Thanh Tri district - said: "We focus on developing a project to arrange and assign cadres, civil servants and public employees from the district and commune levels to 5 new commune administrative units, ensuring a synchronous structure and meeting the requirements of the task.
Along with that, the review, renovation and upgrading of headquarters and equipment are also being carried out urgently, in the spirit of making the most of available resources to create favorable working conditions for staff from July 1".
