Traffic ban on suspension bridge in Tuyen Quang due to cable breakage

Tuyen Quang - Functional agencies temporarily suspend traffic through Vinh Hao suspension bridge, Vinh Tuy commune due to cable breakage incident.

On June 23, information from Vinh Tuy Commune People's Committee, Vinh Hao suspension bridge in Tho Quang village encountered a cable break incident, tilting part of the bridge deck, posing a potential safety risk for people and vehicles traveling.

Leaders of Vinh Tuy Commune People's Committee were present at the scene to inspect and direct functional forces to implement measures to ensure safety for people.

Currently, functional agencies have set up barriers and warning signs, prohibiting people and vehicles from traveling through the bridge that is in trouble.

To prevent the risk of accidents, Vinh Tuy Commune People's Committee requests people not to ride bicycles, motorbikes, cars or any means of transport across the bridge until there is a new notice; not to gather, stand to watch or move to the bridge area.

Vinh Tuy Commune People's Committee is monitoring and evaluating the current status of the project to have a plan for repair and replacement, ensuring safety for people and vehicles in traffic.
