The Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital project was started in October 2023. The project is located on an area of more than 14 hectares with a scale of 1,000 beds, including all items according to the standards of a provincial-level general hospital of grade I.
With a total investment of nearly 1,800 billion VND, this is the most modern and largest hospital in Tuyen Quang province to date.
According to PV's records, after a period of construction, the shape of the trillion-VND hospital has gradually emerged. Many functional buildings have completed the rough construction. At the construction site, workers and machinery and equipment are mobilized to synchronously deploy project items.
In addition to completing functional buildings, landscape and auxiliary works, electricity and water are also being constructed in parallel.
According to the construction unit, as of mid-June 2026, the construction volume value of the entire project reached about 942.8 billion VND, equivalent to about 86% of the value of construction contracts. The project has been allocated accumulated 1,228.5 billion VND, reaching 68.4% of the total investment.
In which, package No. 13 on technical infrastructure and auxiliary works has reached about 91%.
Many important items such as ground leveling, regulating lake, outdoor lighting system, internal traffic, and parking lots are basically completed.
At package No. 14, key items including the Outpatient - Emergency Treatment and Examination Center, the Inpatient Center of unit C1 and the waste and medical gas treatment project have reached from 80 to over 90% of the construction volume.
Package No. 15, technical and professional works, nutrition department, infectious disease department, psychiatric department, infection control and many auxiliary items have reached from 78 to over 90% of the designed volume.
Currently, the investor is coordinating with relevant units to deploy additional medical exhaust gas treatment systems and automatic disease sample transportation systems.
It is expected that by June 30, the basic completion progress will reach 95% of the contract volume, completing the trial run of all technical systems to put into use before August 30.
Regarding the project, Standing Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan requested contractors to focus manpower and machinery to accelerate the project progress.
The investor, the Department of Health and the Provincial General Hospital, together with the Project Management Board for Construction Investment Project No. 1, must review and comprehensively assess the invested items, and in the process of implementation, if they find it unreasonable, they must immediately agree to adjust.
Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital is identified as a provincial-level final-line hospital. The project has full items such as examination rooms, outpatient, inpatient, emergency rooms, and the Department of Nuclear Physics.
When completed, this facility will replace the old general hospital, meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of local people and neighboring areas.
