On the morning of August 29, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Hanoi City Police said that on August 28, the AI camera system in the city recorded 612 traffic violations.
At the same time, the Hanoi Traffic Police force deployed a general control of transport business vehicles, inspecting 1,003 vehicles, including 548 passenger transport business vehicles and 455 cargo transport business vehicles.
Through inspection, the traffic police force handled 176 violations, including 120 cases related to passenger transport business vehicles and 56 cases for cargo transport business vehicles.
The total fine is estimated at 235.2 million VND. In addition, functional forces deducted points from driver's licenses for 13 cases and temporarily seized 1 vehicle.

Among the detected violations, noteworthy are 130 cases of stopping and parking improperly; 9 cases of carrying overloaded goods and 4 cases of carrying oversized goods.
In addition, functional forces also discovered 4 cases of carrying goods in the passenger compartment, 1 case of picking up and dropping off passengers not in accordance with regulations, 1 case of driving vehicles into the emergency lane and 1 case of going into prohibited roads, prohibited hours.
According to the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, the general control of transport business vehicles is being implemented to strengthen inspection and handling of violations, contributing to preventing the risk of accidents and raising the awareness of law compliance of drivers and transport businesses.
Also according to the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, from 7 am on August 28 to 7 am on August 29, traffic accidents did not occur in Hanoi City.
