Lang Son Provincial People's Committee has just held a regular meeting in August (first session), discussing a number of important issues.
One of the main contents considered is the draft Submission and Resolution on the assignment of additional civil servant positions to a number of administrative agencies and organizations of the province in 2025.
At the meeting, Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Ho Tien Thieu agreed with the proposal of the Department of Home Affairs. Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade was assigned to add 94 positions to receive the Market Management Department from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, reorganized into the Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade.
In addition, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council increased by 3 positions; the Provincial People's Committee Office increased by 4 positions; the Department of Foreign Affairs increased by 2 positions.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Justice to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs to review and design the content in the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council, ensuring the addition of staffing in conjunction with regimes and policies in accordance with legal regulations.
The second content discussed is the support policy for cadres and civil servants working in communes and wards in the province during the period of restructuring the apparatus.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of the border province emphasized that this policy aims to partially support the difficulties of cadres, civil servants, public employees and people working in associations assigned to the payroll.
The level of support is unified according to the distance from place of residence to work as follows:
From 10 km to less than 20 km: 500,000 VND/month.
From 20 km to less than 30 km: 1,000,000 VND/month.
From 30 km to less than 40 km: 1,500,000 VND/month.
From 40 km or more: 2,000,000 VND/month.
The policy application period is 24 months from the effective date of the resolution.
