Speaking to reporters, Lieutenant Colonel Phung Minh Nam - in charge of the artillery site command - said: Up to now, the preparation work has been basically completed, 120 artillery pieces are expected to be launched at 9:00 p.m. tonight (June 29).
From Dinh Le Square (the other side of the Red River, around Ho Chi Minh Park), people can witness the low-altitude fireworks display, expected to last 15 minutes.





Currently, the road leading to the square has also been diverted so that people and tourists can witness the historic moment welcoming the new Lao Cai province.
In Yen Bai, up to now, preparations for the Special Art Program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee and the founding of the new Lao Cai province have also been ready. At the end of the art program, low-altitude fireworks will be displayed at Km5 Square.
