Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen signed an official dispatch requesting agencies, units, and localities to continue to synchronously implement tasks and solutions to complete the targets of simplifying administrative procedures related to production and business activities.
This is to contribute to building a modern, transparent administration, better serving the needs of people and businesses in Can Tho.
Accordingly, the Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee requested to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the tasks and solutions according to Resolution No. 66/NQ-CP of the Government and Plan No. 56/KH-UBND of Can Tho City People's Committee.
It is necessary to identify the work of reducing and simplifying administrative procedures related to production and business activities as a key task in administrative reform, digital transformation and improving the quality of service to people and businesses; linking the results of implementation with the responsibility of the head.

Agencies, units, and localities are required to proactively review and propose plans to reduce and simplify administrative procedures under their management; focus on implementing the goal of reducing at least 50% of the time to resolve administrative procedures and 50% of the cost of complying with administrative procedures compared to 2024.
Along with that is reviewing and proposing to cut at least 30% of conditional business lines; proposing to abolish 100% of unnecessary business conditions that are no longer suitable, overlapping or hindering production and business activities.
Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen also requested to promote the implementation of administrative procedures in the electronic environment; ensure that 100% of the enterprise's reporting regime is carried out electronically.
The settlement of administrative procedures must be carried out according to the principle of "providing information only once", not requiring people and businesses to provide information, papers, and documents that state agencies already have or can exploit from databases.
Can Tho City continues to improve the conditions to ensure and expand the implementation of administrative procedures regardless of administrative boundaries; striving for 100% of administrative procedures in the city to be received and resolved regardless of administrative boundaries, creating maximum convenience for people and businesses.
