Accordingly, this Resolution names 13 roads in the three districts of Ninh Kieu, Binh Thuy, and Cai Rang; applicable to agencies, organizations, households, and individuals related to the named roads.
Ninh Kieu District plans to name three streets: Bung Xang, Dang Van Ngu, and Nguyen Van Huong.
In which, Bung Xang street is limited from Rach Ngong bridge to the junction of alley 51, the section towards 3 Thang 2 street (old Binh Khanh bridge, now filled and renovated into a culvert), An Khanh ward, Xuan Khanh ward. The current temporary name is Bung Xang Lake shore road.
Dang Van Ngu Street is limited from Nguyen Minh Quang Street to Tran Minh Son Street, Area 4, An Khanh Ward. Current temporary name is Street 5A.
Nguyen Van Huong Street is limited from Nguyen Minh Quang Street to Tran Minh Son Street, Area 4, An Khanh Ward. Current temporary name is Street 6A.
Binh Thuy District plans to name five streets: Kinh Duong Vuong, Au Co, Dinh Cong Tru, Tran Nhat Duat and Le Phuoc Tho.
In which, Kinh Duong Vuong street is limited from Dang Van Day street to street number 25 (Ngan Thuan residential area), Binh Thuy ward. The current temporary names are streets number 41, 42, 43.
Au Co Street is limited from Le Hong Phong Street to Vo Van Kiet Street, Tra An Ward. The current temporary name is Airport Belt Road.
Dinh Cong Tru Street is limited from Street No. 1 to Street No. 20 (Ngan Thuan residential area), Binh Thuy ward. Current temporary name is Street No. 29.
Tran Nhat Duat Street is limited from Street No. 1 to Street No. 15 (Ngan Thuan residential area), Binh Thuy ward. The current temporary name is Street No. 36, 37.
Le Phuoc Tho Street is limited from Cach Mang Thang Tam Street (An Thoi Ward, Long Hoa Ward) to Provincial Road 918 (Cai Son - Hang Bang Canal embankment), Long Tuyen Ward. The current temporary name is Alley 91, Cach Mang Thang Tam Street.
Cai Rang District plans to name five streets: September 2, Cai Cui, Nguyen Thai Son, Doan Van Chia and Nguyen Van Luu.
In which, 2/9 Street is limited from Can Tho Bridge to the border of Hau Giang Province (Bridge No. 10) through Hung Phu, Hung Thanh, Ba Lang, Le Binh, Thuong Thanh wards. The current temporary name is the road leading to Can Tho Bridge and National Highway 1A.
Cai Cui Road is limited from Vo Nguyen Giap Street to Cai Cui Port, Phu Thang area, Tan Phu ward. The current temporary name is the road to Cai Cui Port.
Nguyen Thai Son Street is limited from the intersection of Can Tho Bridge approach road to the end of the street, Hung Phu residential area, Hung Phu ward. The current temporary name is A6 Street.
Doan Van Chia Street is limited from the intersection of B18 Street to A9 Street, Hung Phu Residential Area, Hung Phu Ward. The current temporary name is B3 Street.
Nguyen Van Luu Street is limited from the approach road to Can Tho Bridge (residential road) to Le Trong Tan Street (Tay Do Cultural Center project), Hung Thanh Ward. The current temporary name is Street 1B.
According to the draft Resolution, naming streets aims to contribute to the effective implementation of road management, urban management, and administrative management; create favorable conditions for people to participate in traffic, carry out economic, cultural, and social transactions; at the same time, contribute to honoring the achievements of famous people, educating the national historical and cultural traditions, enhancing the love for the homeland, country, and national pride of the people in the city.
