The election day for National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and People's Council deputies of all levels for the 2026-2031 term will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
According to the plan, the Can Tho City People's Council for the term 2026 - 2031 will elect 85 delegates from 150 candidates, ensuring harmony in composition, gender, ethnicity and age; distributed in the Party, government, armed forces, Fatherland Front, mass organizations, religious organizations, economic, social and professional organizations and commune and ward levels.
