Dak Lak - The Traffic Police force has been blocking key routes, promptly resolving incidents when storm No. 13 made landfall.

On the evening of November 6, speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Ngoc Tu - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police - said that, due to the impact of storm No. 13, the Traffic Police force in the whole province has deployed patrols and controls on key routes and areas.

Lieutenant Colonel Tu said that before the storm made landfall, the Traffic Police force surveyed all flood-prone routes and deployed a plan to arrange forces to promptly handle incidents and ensure safe traffic.

In areas where trees have fallen, authorities are immediately present to resolve the issue, ensuring smooth traffic.

Traffic police teams maintain 24/7 combat duty at key points with high risk of landslides, at least until November 8, Lieutenant Colonel Tu emphasized.

Previously, on the evening of November 6, at Km19 of Buon Ho bypass, Cuor Dang commune, a large tree suddenly fell across the road, causing traffic congestion.

The Krong Buk Traffic Police force immediately diverted traffic, notified vehicles, and cut down trees and brought tree trunks to the side. The incident did not cause any damage to people or vehicles.

Also on the evening of November 6, many national and provincial highways in the eastern part of the province experienced fallen trees due to strong gusts of wind. The Traffic Police force coordinated with local authorities to promptly overcome the situation and ensure traffic safety.
