According to information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security, on December 21, 2025, the national traffic police force simultaneously launched a campaign to control and handle violations of alcohol concentration according to the direction of the Director of the Traffic Police Department. The activity was implemented uniformly in 34/34 localities in two peak hours from 12:00 to 14:30 and from 19:00 to 10:30.
During this time, the traffic police force controlled a total of 81,622 vehicles of all kinds. Through inspection, 2,393 cases of alcohol concentration violations were detected and recorded.
Of these, the violation mainly fell on motorbike drivers with 2,283 cases.
Notably, the age group from 36 to 55 accounts for the highest rate of violations with 1,475 cases, equivalent to more than 61%. The group from 18 to 35 years old recorded 628 violations. There are still 15 cases of alcohol concentration violations under 18 years old participating in traffic.

According to the Traffic Police Department, organizing simultaneous control of a violation topic at the same time nationwide will continue to be maintained regularly and continuously, even during holidays and Tet.
On the morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo, the Traffic Police force across the country will also simultaneously check alcohol concentration.
The goal of these campaigns is to gradually form and maintain the habit of safe traffic culture in society, with the consistent message "Don't drive after drinking alcohol".
