According to the Cao Bang Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, due to the influence of a compressed low pressure trough combined with a high-altitude wind convergence zone at an altitude of about 5,000m, the weather at the end of June 24th in the province has complicated developments.
Common rainfall is from 10 - 30mm, some places may record rainfall above 80mm.
The meteorological agency assessed that dangerous weather phenomena such as tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind are likely to appear during thunderstorms.
These phenomena can cause damage to agricultural production, break down trees, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure.

Localized heavy rain also poses a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides in hilly areas with steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
Cao Bang Provincial Hydrometeorological Station warns of disaster risk level due to tornadoes, lightning and hail at level 1.
People are advised to regularly follow forecast bulletins, proactively reinforce houses, protect property, harvest agricultural products when conditions permit and limit outdoor movement during thunderstorms to minimize damage caused by natural disasters.
