Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan on organizing periodic press conferences and providing information to the press in the last 6 months of 2026.
Accordingly, the first press conference will be held in July. The content focuses on the results of implementing socio-economic development, defense, and security tasks in the first 6 months of the year; key tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of the year.
At this meeting, the province will inform about the results of merging hamlets and residential groups; regimes and policies for non-specialized workers at the grassroots level; along with the situation of attracting investment and implementing projects in the 2026 - 2030 period.
The third quarter press conference scheduled to be held at the end of September will provide information on the socio-economic development situation in the first 9 months of the year.
Plan to implement the 2026 - 2027 school year and policies of the education sector; and information on land management, minerals and environmental protection in the area.
The fourth quarter press conference, scheduled to take place at the end of December, will focus on assessing the results of implementing socio-economic development targets in 2026, administrative reform, digital transformation, ensuring national defense and security, and key directions and tasks for 2027.

In case it cannot be organized directly due to objective conditions, the Provincial People's Committee will provide information in appropriate forms such as issuing press releases, providing information in writing, specialized press conferences or online meetings as prescribed.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is assigned to preside over advising on organizing press conferences, coordinating with the Office of the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches, and localities to prepare content, summarize information, develop press releases and monitor feedback from press agencies.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee is responsible for ensuring facilities, issuing invitation letters and posting press releases on the province's Electronic Information Portal.
The Provincial Police ensure security and order during the press conference; departments, branches and People's Committees of communes and wards prepare sufficient information under their management and appoint spokespersons or authorized persons to attend.
The organization of periodic press conferences is expected to contribute to improving publicity and transparency in state management activities, and enhancing the effectiveness of providing official information to the press and people.
