The People's Committee of Cao Bang province has just issued Decision No. 1570/QD-UBND detailing the maximum number, types, and management methods of public cars serving the general work of agencies and organizations in the province.
This Decision officially takes effect from the date of signing (December 5), replacing previous regulations, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of public asset management in the new context.
According to the decision, the total number of public cars (blue-plate cars) for general work allocated is 181, applied to agencies, organizations, and units under the management of the province. The types of vehicles specified include single-axle or double-axle cars, with seating capacity from 4 to 16, including pickup trucks.
The detailed list of vehicles allocated to each agency and unit is attached in the appendix of the decision. Accordingly, the provincial office block is allowed to use a maximum of 18 vehicles, the Provincial People's Committee Office 7 vehicles, while departments, branches and sectors are allocated from 2 to 10 vehicles depending on their functions and actual needs.
The decision also provides two methods of managing public vehicles to suit the conditions of each unit. For agencies and organizations with vehicle usage standards, the direct management method is applied, with vehicles being delivered directly to these units.
In addition, affiliated units can apply centralized management methods or combine both methods, based on the decision of the agency head, ensuring flexibility and efficiency.
For district-level units, the District and City People's Committees are provided with 7 to 8 vehicles and will be responsible for specifying the norms and methods of managing public vehicles, after consulting with relevant agencies.
Agencies and organizations are required to manage and use public vehicles for the right purposes, economically, effectively and strictly comply with legal regulations such as the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets and Decree No. 72/2023/ND-CP.
The Department of Finance of Cao Bang province is assigned to guide and supervise the implementation, ensuring transparency, accuracy and compliance with legal regulations.
Decision No. 1570/QD-UBND replaces Decision No. 2089/QD-UBND dated November 5, 2021, with many adjustments to meet management requirements in the new period.
