Can Tho City People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch on implementing the peak of attacking and suppressing crime, ensuring security and order for the Lunar New Year and major national events in the city.
According to the official dispatch, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and its member organizations, Directors of Departments, Heads of agencies, sectors of the city, Press agencies and Chairmen of People's Committees of districts and towns, according to their functions, tasks and powers, to widely disseminate the policy of launching a peak period of attacking and suppressing crimes, ensuring security and order for the Lunar New Year and major events of the country in 2025 in the city.
The City Military Command directed functional forces to closely coordinate with the Police force to ensure security and safety of key targets, projects, important political, economic, cultural, social, and foreign affairs events taking place in the city and activities to celebrate the Party and celebrate the Spring of At Ty in 2025.
The Department of Transport directs functional forces to closely coordinate with the police force in detecting, combating, and preventing crimes, law violations, and insecurity and disorder on traffic routes under its management; strengthen inspection and examination of traffic activities in conjunction with controlling, detecting, and preventing law violations.
The People's Committees of districts and towns closely coordinate with the Public Security Agencies at all levels to develop plans to carry out the peak of attacking and suppressing crimes, ensuring security and order for the Lunar New Year and major national events in 2025 in the locality; resolutely deploy plans and strategies to fight and prevent crimes, ensure social order and safety in accordance with the characteristics of the situation and locality; mobilize forces and people's patrol teams to join the Public Security forces in patrolling, controlling and preventing crimes at the grassroots level.
The City Police Department directed the police forces of units and localities to strengthen and synchronously deploy all aspects of work, professional measures, patrols and controls in key areas; organize and effectively implement the peak period according to the purposes, requirements and contents of the plan, especially to resolutely fight against criminal, economic and drug crimes and those who take advantage of cyberspace and use high technology to commit crimes.
