smooth expressway, eye-catching scenery
On the morning of May 3, recorded on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam and Van Phong - Nha Trang expressways showed a sudden increase in traffic density. At the QL27C intersection - an important gateway connecting to Nha Trang - a long line of cars and passenger cars lined up towards the city center.
Mr. Tran Minh Tuan (HCMC) said that his family chose to go to Ninh Hoa town to celebrate and travel to Diep Son and Doc Let islands.
"Previously, I only went to Cam Lam on the highway, then I had to go around National Highway 1. Now, the expressway is smooth from Ho Chi Minh City to the end of Khanh Hoa province, the journey is much more convenient and time-saving," said Mr. Tuan.

Sharing more about his first experience running on the Van Phong - Nha Trang route, Mr. Tuan was impressed by "the smooth, beautiful road, many sections of the overpass through the forest and the mountainous terrain are very romantic, no different from famous tourist routes abroad".
Statistics from Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway Management Company Limited show that on April 30 and May 1, the total number of vehicles entering and exiting at Suoi Dau toll stations (Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway) and Km5+783 (Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway) was more than 30,300. The number of vehicles entering and exiting Suoi Dau intersection to Nha Trang City alone is more than 6,400.

Boost for peak tourism season
The Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway, over 83km long, officially opened to traffic on April 19, connecting with the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway, creating a smooth road traffic corridor from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Yen province. This is a factor that is considered a strong "push" to promote the development of Khanh Hoa tourism during the peak summer season this year.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province - said that the complete expressway system has significantly shortened travel time and expanded the tourist market from the Southeast provinces.

Not only Ho Chi Minh City but also provinces such as Dong Nai, Binh Duong, even Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan or Phu Yen can easily go to Nha Trang by private car during the day, said Mr. Nhuan.
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - commented that the connection of the expressway from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Yen is a turning point event, not only promoting tourism but also creating conditions for the province to attract investment in key infrastructure projects and coastal logistics centers.
