The Ha Long Carnival 2026 program takes place from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM on April 30th, on Tran Quoc Nghien street and 30/10 Square area (Ha Long ward), with the theme "Shining Wonders - New Era".
The opening highlight is a large-scale street parade from 6:30 PM, gathering 13 domestic art troupes and 1 international troupe, along with 10 model cars promoting the image of Quang Ninh.
Also participating are 170 lion and dragon artists, 80 festival drum artists, 100 professional dancers, 10 beauty queens, runners-up, 50 models and about 450 extras.
The parades are divided into 2 thematic groups including: "Colors of heritage and modern rhythm of life", "Five-continent dance and Quang Ninh integration", creating a colorful festival space along the Tran Quoc Nghien coastal road.
From 8 pm, at 30/10 Square, a 150-minute opening art program takes place, staged like a "grand music festival" with 3 parts: "Orchid Symphony of Origin", "Convergence of Essence" and "Ha Long Shining".
The program brings together many famous artists such as My Tam, Tung Duong, Minh Tuyet, HIEUTHUHAI, Quang Hung MasterD, RHYDER, Bui Cong Nam, Anh Tu, Trong Hieu, LyLy, Thu Hang...
The festival space is expanded with a parade of dozens of motorbikes and thousands of professional and amateur actors on a nearly 1km long coastal road, connected to the main stage.
On Ha Long Bay, there are hundreds of tourist boats participating in parades, lighting performances, creating unique visual effects.
Ha Long Carnival 2026 is not only a typical cultural and tourism activity on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30) and International Labor Day May 1, but also affirms the goal of building Quang Ninh into a tourist, festival and entertainment center of the region.
