However, there is a large bridge that has just been put into use not long ago, which is helping to solve the traffic problem for Tam Nong district. That is the Song Bua bridge across the river of the same name, replacing Tu My bridge connecting Tam Nong district with Cam Khe district.
Song Bua Bridge is the only river-crossing bridge on the inter-regional traffic route connecting Ho Chi Minh Road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province - the project route has a total investment of 2,120 billion VND passing through 3 districts of Phu Tho province.
Regarding location, Song Bua bridge is located on Km4+323 of the inter-regional road, in Quang Huc commune and Lam Son commune, Tam Nong district, about 3.5km from Tu My bridge downstream of Bua river (parallel to Tu My bridge).
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in mid-October, many vehicles traveling in the direction of Tam Nong - Cam Khe and vice versa passed through Song Bua bridge.
Mr. Bui Van Quang - a truck driver living in Si Hen area, Dong Luong commune (near the bridge) - shared: "I transport goods every day over this bridge, the new bridge is very sturdy and safe. At this time, Tu My bridge is banning cars, so Song Bua bridge has more traffic than before".

According to Mr. Nam, the project is designed as a simple 5-span girder bridge (according to the diagram 39.1+3x40+39.1m), with a total length of more than 204m (from the end of the abutment to the end of the abutment).
