The Son Duong town bypass road and the construction of a bridge across the Pho Day River have a total length of more than 4km, with a total investment of over 329 billion VND, including site clearance (GPMB) and construction packages.
The project is invested by the Department of Transport of Tuyen Quang province, and started construction in November 2021. Of which, the Pho Day River overpass, the final section connecting to Km 188 QL.37, is worth 50 billion VND. After a long period of construction, the overpass has gradually been completed.
According to PV on March 22, at the construction site, workers and machinery were mobilized to speed up the project's progress. The shape of the overpass across the Pho Day River has gradually emerged.
Workers are implementing the installation of bridge deck, construction of retaining walls, and completion of the section connecting to National Highway.27. The overpass girder has been basically completed and the auxiliary items have been deployed in parallel before the closure.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen (Son Duong town, Tuyen Quang province) said that local people are looking forward to the Pho Day River overpass being completed and put into operation soon. This is the largest and most magnificent locally invested bridge.
The overpass will help synchronize traffic infrastructure, beautifying the urban face. At the same time, shorten the travel distance to National Highway.27, where there are many vehicles participating in traffic.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Dinh Quoc Hai - Construction site commander, Hiep Phu Company Limited (the construction unit of the Pho Day River overpass) said that currently, workers are focusing on speeding up the progress, synchronously constructing items to install bridge deck, and build embankments behind the abutments.
The bridge girder item has been completed installation. The unit is focusing on striving to complete and put the overpass into technical traffic before April 30.
