According to initial information, at around 5:30 p.m. the same day, a large royal poinciana tree was suddenly uprooted and fell onto Ham Nghi Street, through a densely populated area.
At this time, there were many vehicles and people moving back and forth. The two motorbikes were hit by the body and branches, however, the drivers of the motorbikes escaped in time.
"We have assigned forces to be present at the scene to quickly handle the situation and reopen the road soon. The specific cause is being investigated by the authorities, said Mr. Trong.
