On June 13, the authorities of Da Lat city (Lam Dong) coordinated with relevant units to organize the handling of many ancient trees that were uprooted and fell due to heavy rain.

Accordingly, on the same morning, Da Lat city had heavy rain and strong winds. As a result, strong gusts of wind caused an ancient tree with a trunk diameter of about 80cm on Quang Trung Street, Ward 9, to fall onto the fence of the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union headquarters.
Heavy rain and strong gusts of wind also caused 3 ancient trees with a trunk diameter of 40-70cm on Quang Trung Street and Nguyen Van Troi Street to collapse onto the road.
Falling trees damaged the cable and electric pole system, fortunately there were no human casualties.
After the incident, the authorities used vehicles to sawed, cut, moved trees, and clear the scene.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 13, due to the influence of storm No. 1 (international name: storm Wutip), the Central Highlands provinces will experience heavy rain, with the risk of landslides and flooding in areas along rivers, streams, and low-lying areas.
During the day, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a document directing departments, branches, sectors, unions and People's Committees of districts and cities to strengthen measures to respond to heavy rain, floods and landslides.
