Parents search for 10-year-old son who went missing in Ho Chi Minh City

HCMC - Mr. Bui Van Thien's family is searching for their son, Nguyen Minh Canh (10 years old), who has been missing for many days.

According to Mr. Bui Van Thien, he and his wife went home from work at a motel on Tan Thoi Nhat 12 Street (Dong Hung Thuan Ward) on the afternoon of August 22 but could not find their son. The family has spread out to search and ask about him everywhere but there is no information about Canh.

Security camera footage shows that Canh had walked alone and left home at around 2:00 p.m. on August 22 and had not returned. When leaving, the child wore a red T-shirt, a tight-fitting shirt and brought a phone without a SIM card.

Mr. Thien added that Canh has dropped out of school since grade 1 and often stays at home or around the boarding house. The couple are all workers, often having to work and leave their children alone at home. After two days of searching without results, the family reported to Dong Hung Thuan ward police for support.
