The road project from My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area to National Highway 2D connecting to Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway is nearly 9 km long. The project has a total investment of 487 billion VND, invested by the Department of Transport (now the Department of Construction) of Tuyen Quang province.
The project started construction at the end of 2021, a newly opened road, designed according to urban standards.

Reported by the PV at the end of the project, the workers are conducting digging the road floor. This will be the location connecting the route to the 2D Highway, forming a axis connected to the highway. Rock is being transported leveling to create ground, synchronous construction of auxiliary items such as tunnels and underground sewers. The route is also implemented in parallel with the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang highway project to synchronize the transportation network.
In addition to the end point of the project connecting with National Highway 2D, other locations of the route have been basically completed, paved with asphalt, and are currently under construction of green trees and lighting items. Vehicles can now circulate at these locations.

According to a leader of Yen Son District People's Committee, the project passing through the district is over 3km long, and the site clearance work was completed in early 2024.
To implement the entire project, 209 households and individuals have had their land reclaimed with a total area of 20.1 hectares.
The route is expected to promote economic development, especially the My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area. After completion, the route will help synchronize the traffic network, quickly connecting National Highway 2D and Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway, promoting local economic and social development.
