Trucks banned from circulating on many routes in Ho Chi Minh City during the Vesak Festival

HCMC - Many streets in the city will ban trucks from circulating during the 2025 United Nations General Day.

From May 3 to 8, Ho Chi Minh City will ban trucks from circulating on the routes around the Vietnam Buddhist Academy (Binh Chanh District) from 6am to 6pm every day.

The routes banned from circulation include:

Provincial Road 10 (from Le Duc Anh Street, National Highway 1 to Tran Van Giau Street).

Tran Van Giau Street (from Vo Tran Chi Street to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long An border).

DT 825 road (from DT 823B road to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long An border).

Tran Dai Nghia Street (from Le Kha Phieu Street to Mai Ba Huong Street).

Mai Ba Huong Street (from Thich Thien Hoa Street to Tran Van Giau Street).

The alternative traffic route is as follows:

Long An province - DT825 road - DT823B road - DT824 road - Nguyen Van Bua road - Le Quang Dao road (QL22) - Le Duc Anh road (QL1) - Vo Tran Chi street (HCMC) and vice versa.

During the same period, Ho Chi Minh City will adjust traffic organization on the following routes:

Lang Le - Bau Co Street (from Tran Dai Nghia Street to Tran Van Giau Street): organizes one-way traffic of cars from Tran Van Giau Street to Tran Dai Nghia Street. 2-3 wheeled vehicles travel in both directions.

Tran Dai Nghia Street (from Mai Ba Huong Street to Lang Le - Bau Co Street): organize one-way traffic of cars from Lang Le - Bau Co Street to Mai Ba Huong Street. 2-3 wheeled vehicles travel in both directions.

Mai Ba Huong Street (from Thich Thien Hoa Street to Tran Dai Nghia Street): organize one-way traffic of cars from Tran Dai Nghia Street to Thich Thien Hoa Street. 2-3 wheeled vehicles travel in both directions.
