On the evening of April 23, a fire broke out at an apartment building at No. 2 Nguyen Huu Canh street, Rach Dua ward, Ho Chi Minh City, causing many residents living here to panic.
According to initial information, at about 7:30 pm on the same day, an apartment on the 16th floor of this apartment building suddenly caught fire with dense black smoke. Discovering the fire, people shouted to each other and reported it to the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, the fire police force of Ho Chi Minh City Police quickly arrived at the scene to coordinate with the apartment building management board to put out the fire.

About 30 minutes later, the fire was controlled. Functional forces are spraying water to prevent the fire from returning.
Initial verification shows that the fire did not cause any casualties, but many people were panicked and quickly moved to a safe area below.
Currently, functional agencies are verifying and clarifying the cause of the fire.
