The incident happened at about 1 pm on April 23. At the above time, a truck with license plate 89C-281. XX driven by driver L.V. H (born 1986, residing in Hung Yen) was moving on Nguyen Trai street in the direction from Nga Tu So to Thanh Xuan underpass (Hanoi).
When arriving in front of house number 108 Nguyen Trai street (Thanh Xuan ward), the rear wheel of the car suddenly sank into a hole. The incident caused the car to tilt and be unable to move.
Upon receiving the news, Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 (CSGT) - Hanoi Police Department of Traffic Police sent officers and soldiers to the scene to divert traffic and handle the incident. At the scene, functional forces mobilized excavators to rescue and pull vehicles out of the sinkhole.
Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties. However, due to the incident occurring in the middle of the road, the flow of vehicles in the direction from Nga Tu So to Ring Road 3 was long.
It is known that the area where the incident occurred is being restored to the road surface after the construction of the flood prevention project item.
Previously, on April 9, also on Nguyen Trai street, a truck also fell into a hole in the area of house number 72 (about 230m from house number 108).
