At about 3 pm on August 29, a fire occurred at a row of temporary shacks, a car repair shop on Le Quang Dao street, Tu Liem ward. A column of black smoke rose tens of meters high, with the risk of fire spreading to the surrounding area.

According to people present at the scene, at the above time, smoke and fire were discovered rising from the area bordering house 68A Le Quang Dao. Just a few minutes later, the fire flared up fiercely, forming a column of smoke tens of meters high.

Upon receiving the news, functional forces dispatched 5 fire trucks and dozens of police officers, soldiers, soldiers and local people to the scene to organize firefighting.

According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, the area where the fire occurred is a row of temporary houses including 5 car repair shops and a number of shops selling spare parts and car repair tools.

Functional forces mobilized excavators to open fire fighting roads. Until nearly 4 pm, functional forces continued to spray water to cool down, treat smoke points, and prevent the fire from reigniting and spreading to the surrounding area.
