On the morning of February 25, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Khuong Kim Thoa - Chairman of the People's Committee of Trung Mon Commune (Yen Son District) confirmed that the fire broke out at 6:30 a.m. at Trung Mon Market at km6. The fire has now been basically controlled.
Accordingly, the fire started from a shoe stall in the market. Because the market had many clothes and shoe kiosks, the fire quickly spread fiercely.
After receiving the report, the authorities and local people were present to put out the fire. More than 50 officers and 6 specialized fire trucks were mobilized to the scene.
Initial statistics show that the fire did not cause any human casualties. However, dozens of kiosks in Trung Mon market were completely burned down.
