According to initial information, at around 3:30 p.m., many residents living in alley 306 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Ward 5, District 3 suddenly discovered black smoke, accompanied by a burning smell coming from a house. In just a few minutes, the burning smell engulfed the space, accompanied by small rays of fire.

People shouted together and ran over, trying to put out the fire while worrying when they learned that there was a small child inside who had not yet escaped.
"People are shouting for help, whoever has a fire extinguisher can bring it. Some people ran into the house to find the boy. At that time, the smoke was everywhere, everyone was both scared and worried, just afraid that the child would get stuck," a witness recounted.
Fortunately, the house door was not locked, so people promptly brought the boy about 10 years old out safely. When taken out, the child panicked and hugged a neighbor, eyes wide open because he was still shocked.

Immediately after receiving the report, the District 3 Fire Police force mobilized 2 fire trucks and many officers and soldiers to quickly arrived at the scene.
Thanks to the timely detection of local people and quick rescue, the fire did not spread in time. Firefighters sprayed water to completely extinguish the remaining mud, preventing the risk of the fire from breaking out again.
After being taken out of the burning house, the child was still scared. According to her, today her parents are returning to their hometown in Long An, and her brother is attending extra classes, so she stays at home alone.

Fortunately, the fire did not cause much damage to property, only causing some items in the house to be covered in smoke and slightly damaged. However, the incident is also a warning about the risk of fire and explosion in residential areas, especially when children are alone at home without adult supervision.
The authorities are continuing to investigate to clarify the cause of the fire.
