A leader of the People's Committee of Thach Chau commune (Thach Ha district) said that at 4:00 p.m. on February 5, on 22/12 street in Duc Chau village, Thach Chau commune, a 5-seat car with license plate 38A-079.xx driven by Mr. Hoang Quoc L (born in 1985, residing in Chan Thanh village, Binh An commune, Thach Ha district) suddenly caught fire.
The driver stopped the car and shouted for help. The police of Thach Chau commune arrived at the scene and used a mini fire extinguisher to put out the fire. However, by the time the fire was extinguished, the car had already burned down.
Damage is estimated at around 100 million VND. The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical short circuit.
