At around 6:00 a.m. on April 2, a fire broke out at Quang Viet Tien Giang Company Limited (Tan Huong Industrial Park, Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province).
At this time, the company's security guards and workers discovered a fire breaking out in the warehouse, with thick smoke and dust from the fire.
Immediately afterwards, the on-site force shouted and used fire extinguishers and spray bottles to put out the fire. However, due to the fire spreading rapidly, initial efforts to control it were unsuccessful.
Upon receiving the news, the fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue forces of Tien Giang Provincial Police mobilized many officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.
As of 9:10 a.m., the authorities were still continuing to extinguish the fire.
