Market fire in Dong Khe town, Cao Bang

Cao Bang - A fire broke out at Dong Khe market (Dong Khe town, Thach An district).

Accordingly, at around 8:00 p.m. on May 25, a fire suddenly broke out at some kiosks of traders outside the market.

Most of this area has asphalt tarpaulins and bamboo stakes, so the fire spread very quickly. At the time of the fire, there was wind, making the rate of fire spread more difficult to control.

After the fire broke out, people, functional forces and specialized machinery participated in extinguishing the fire. After about 1 hour, the fire was controlled.

The fire did not record any human casualties, nearly 10 kiosks outside Dong Khe market were burned down. According to local residents, the fire may have been caused by an electrical short circuit.
