Initial information, at around 7:00 p.m. on July 22, people discovered a fire starting from a scrap workshop in Ba Diem commune. Due to the encounter with flammable materials, the fire broke out fiercely and spread to some nearby rooms. People nearby tried to put out the fire on the spot but failed.


According to Lao Dong at the scene, the fire broke out fiercely, with a column of smoke tens of meters high. People inside the fire area were frightened and tried to run outside.



After receiving the report, the fire prevention and fighting and rescue forces (Ho Chi Minh City Police) dispatched many fire trucks and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. Firefighting work is being carried out.





As of 10pm, the fire had not been extinguished and firefighting was still underway.
