Mr. Nguyen Dinh Anh Minh - Chairman of Tay Nha Trang ward (Khanh Hoa) said that the house fire occurred at a 4-story house at No. 50A, on Le Thanh Phuong street. At the time of the fire, there were 2 people in the house.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Chairman of Tay Nha Trang Ward People's Committee directly arrived at the scene to direct the recovery work. Initial determination showed no casualties.

According to initial information, the fire was determined to originate from the 3rd floor, quickly broke out and spread, causing the 2nd floor area to be covered in thick black smoke.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police dispatched 2 vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy fire fighting operations.
Due to the complicated diễn biến of the fire, functional forces have increased 2 more fire trucks to control the fire.

At about 10:45 am on the same day, the fire was completely controlled, promptly preventing the risk of fire spreading to neighboring houses.
Previously, detecting smoke coming from the house, people around quickly shouted for help and tried to approach for support.
Mr. Do Van Thanh Tai (born in 1988), a member of the local grassroots security and order protection force, promptly arrived, broke down the door and approached the scene.
Discovering that the homeowner was trying to escape and the information that her husband was trapped on the 2nd floor, unable to move on his own, Mr. Tai immediately rushed into the fire area, approached the bedroom, and carried the old man out safely.
The person rescued was Mr. Nguyen Van Hien (born in 1951). Ms. Ho Ngoc Khanh (born in 1958) also escaped safely immediately afterwards.
In conditions of dense fire and smoke, he continued to check the floors in the house to ensure that no one was trapped.
Mr. Tai's brave action and the timeliness of grassroots security forces, local people and support forces have contributed to limiting damage and ensuring the safety of people's lives in the fire.
Currently, the cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
