The fire occurred at a factory at H.T. K VN Co., Ltd. located on DX 007 street, Dinh Hoa 3 neighborhood, Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Functional forces have mobilized more than 10 specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.
According to initial reports, the fire area is about 200 m2. The main fuel is chemicals. The fire did not cause any casualties.
According to records, the fire area was small, but because the flammable was chemical, it was difficult to extinguish the fire. The fire flared up fiercely with a column of black smoke. Explosions and a burning smell affected people in the surrounding area.

Currently, Chanh Hiep Ward Police and the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Area 30 are conducting verification and investigation to clarify the cause of the fire and the responsibilities of the related parties.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that at about 5:30 pm on the same day, a fire occurred at a factory in Dinh Hoa 3 neighborhood, Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
At the scene, the corrugated iron roof of the workshop collapsed. Inside, the fire was large, emitting many explosions. Black smoke swirled into the surrounding residential area, affecting people. Upon receiving the news, the Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched specialized fire fighting vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.
Functional forces of Chanh Hiep ward also quickly arrived to regulate traffic and support firefighting. By 6:40 PM, the fire was basically under control, and functional forces proceeded to completely extinguish the fire.
