By 10:00 p.m. on July 29, the fire prevention and fighting and rescue forces, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police had completely controlled the fire at a resident's house on Nguyen Khuyen Street, Bac Nha Trang Ward.
Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on July 29, people discovered smoke coming from a house on Nguyen Khuyen Street, immediately shouted and reported to the fire fighting force.
4 people in the house, including the mother and 3 young children, managed to run outside before the fire spread.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police mobilized specialized vehicles and dozens of soldiers to the scene.
The 2-storey house is nearly 80m2 wide, the lower floor is used to sell cosmetics, incense and offerings.
The fire was determined to have started on the second floor and within a few minutes, it engulfed the entire floor.
Firefighting forces had to approach in many directions to put out the fire. After that, the authorities had to demolish the roof to reach the second floor to control the fire.
The fire broke out in a densely populated area, many people used mini fire extinguishers to support extinguishing the fire but it was ineffective. The entire area has been temporarily cut off to serve fire prevention and fighting.
According to local residents, the house on fire was rented by a family to do business and live in.
Initially, it was determined that the cause of the house fire may have been an electrical short circuit on the 2nd floor. Currently, the authorities are counting the damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
