House fire at night in Ca Mau, 9-year-old boy dies

Ca Mau - The fire broke out at midnight in a level 4 house in Phu My commune. People in the house fled, the 9-year-old boy was trapped and died.

On the morning of September 27, the leader of the People's Committee of Phu My commune, Ca Mau province, said that a house fire had just occurred in the area, killing a boy.

At around 0:30 a.m. the same day, a fire broke out at the level 4 house of Mr. Tran Trung Hieu (35 years old, residing in Vam Dinh hamlet, Phu My commune) who sells pork at the market. At the time of the fire, there was Mr. Hieu and his wife and two young children in the house.

Phu My Commune Police and local people helped put out the fire and rescue people. However, about 20 minutes after the fire was extinguished, people discovered that Tran Bao Phuoc (9 years old, Mr. Hieu's son) had died in the bedroom.

The fire burned down the level 4 house of Mr. Hieu's family, many properties were severely damaged. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
