On the evening of May 16, a fire occurred at a house located deep in a small alley on Truong Chinh street (Bay Hien ward). Functional forces had to pull water cannons deep inside to put out the fire.
According to initial information, the fire occurred at about 7 pm on May 16 at a house located on Truong Chinh street, in Bay Hien ward.

At the above time, a girl in the house suddenly discovered flames rising fiercely from the first floor area. Too panicked, the victim quickly ran out and shouted for help. Hearing shouts, people around and neighborhood forces immediately brought many fire extinguishers to rescue, trying to approach and put out the fire. However, due to encountering flammable materials, the fire quickly spread.
It is known that the above house is the permanent residence of the couple and 5 children. Fortunately, when the fire broke out, there was only the eldest daughter in the house.

Upon receiving the news, firefighters quickly arrived and approached the scene.
Because the house where the fire occurred is located deep inside a small alley, fire trucks could not move close to the scene. Functional forces had to pull water cannons inside to control the fire, and at the same time prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent households.
After about 20 minutes of efforts to put out the fire, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished by functional forces. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties, but many assets and belongings inside the house were burned down by the fire.
Currently, the cause of the fire and the extent of property damage are being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
