Car fire in apartment complex, two vehicles damaged

HCMC - A 5-seat car suddenly caught fire, leaving the frame in Hoang Anh River View apartment building, the fire spread to the 7-seat car next to it.

At noon on November 16, a fire broke out in the parking area of Hoang Anh River View apartment building (An Khanh ward), causing a 5-seat car to burn to the frame and spread to another car.

According to the records, at around 11am the same day, the 5-seat Nissan car was parked in the Hoang Anh River View apartment building, Nguyen Van Huong street, when it suddenly caught fire. The fire was discovered rising rapidly from the car's hood.

Many residents and the Management Board quickly used mini fire extinguishers on the spot to control the fire, but were unsuccessful because the fire flared up too quickly and fiercely.

After just a few minutes, the fire completely engulfed the 5-seat car and slashed the rear of a 7-seat car parked right in front of it.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue forces mobilized specialized vehicles and nearly a dozen soldiers to the scene. Firefighters quickly deployed aignon and completely extinguished the fire after about 5 minutes.

The fire caused the 5-seat car to burn to the frame, the windshields and windows to break. The 7-seat car was severely damaged by the fire, causing severe damage to the rear of the car. Currently, the authorities are investigating the incident.
