On June 25, information from the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that as of the morning of the same day, police, military, forest rangers, militia and local people continued to deploy plans to zone and control the forest fire in Hai Binh ward.


According to a representative of the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, due to the complex hilly terrain, specialized fire trucks could not approach, along with dry weather and strong winds, firefighting work faced many difficulties.
Until the morning of June 25, the fire continued at some deep abyss locations. This is an area with winding and dangerous terrain, causing many difficulties in creating firebreaks.
Currently, functional forces are organizing to cordon off and control the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighboring areas. At the locations that have been extinguished, functional forces continue to deploy measures to prevent the fire from rekindling.
Regarding the forest fire in Hai Binh ward, functional agencies have mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers of the armed forces, forest rangers and local people to participate in firefighting. However, firefighting work still faces many difficulties due to dangerous terrain and unfavorable weather.
