On June 24, information from Thanh Hoa Power Company said that due to a forest fire in hamlet 4, Dao Duy Tu ward, the fire approached the area of the 110kV Tinh Gia 2 substation.
To ensure safety for people, firefighters as well as protect the safety of power grid operation, Thanh Hoa Power Company was forced to temporarily suspend emergency power supply in the related area.
The temporary power outage is expected to affect nearly 30,000 customers.
According to Thanh Hoa Power Company, this is an unintended power outage. Electricity units are closely coordinating with functional forces to control the fire, protect power grid safety and soon restore power supply as soon as safety conditions are met.
Previously, on the afternoon of June 24, in Hai Binh, Truc Lam and Dao Duy Tu wards, forest fires occurred in 2 areas, including the area belonging to Hai Binh ward and the border forest area between Truc Lam ward and Dao Duy Tu ward.
