At about 8:49 am on September 2, forces of the Fire and Rescue Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police received a report from people about a fire occurring at Truong Quang Trong Primary School No. 2, Tra Giang Residential Group, Truong Quang Trong Ward.
Immediately after that, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Region 1 quickly arrived at the scene and deployed fire fighting plans. By 9:31 am, the fire was completely extinguished.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuong (52 years old), Vice Principal of Truong Quang Trong Primary School, was discovered at the scene of the fire and died. Mr. Tuong has permanent residence registration in Tinh Khe commune, Quang Ngai province.
Property damage is being statistically determined by functional agencies. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified.
